Do you feel unsteady when you get on your skinny skis for the first time each year? Do you want to feel more confident in your weight shift, glide and general stability on and off skis? Now is the perfect time to work on and improve that weak link of BALANCE! Lapham Peak Ski Club is offering a 6 week class to challenge static and dynamic balance and address weakness in muscle that contribute to core stability. Despite previous injury, medical issues, age, or weakness, balance and stability CAN be improved and be beneficial for daily functional mobility, safety and especially for ski technique and enjoyment. Did I mention that it is really fun, too? This is open to all ages and any level of ability. Movements will be taught with options and progressions to improve all participants' joint stability, agility, position sense, reactive balance and core strength. Join us Wednesdays at 6-6:30 pm Starting May 21st - for 6 weeks ending July 2nd. (no class June 25) $20 for members only This signup is for Zoom only. The link for the live class will be emailed to registrants by the Monday prior to class. Also, all participants will be emailed a zoom recording link immediately after the live session on Wednesdays.
