Lessons are geared toward beginner and intermediate skiers and will have different sections depending on ability. Whether you’re new to the sport or have been skiing for years, this is your chance to get some technique help that will make your skiing more efficient and enjoyable.

Beginner classic ski technique will be taught each evening. If you consider yourself to be new to XC or recently started skiing classic, this group is for you. You will be exposed to proper technique, the various ski strokes (double polling, striding), hill climbing and descent, body mechanics, weight transfer, etc. Skiers will be divided into small groups based on technique and ability. Intermediate skate ski technique will be taught each evening. If you have had some instruction or experience with proper technique, various ski strokes (double polling, V1, V2), hill climbing and descent, body mechanics, weight transfer, etc., this group is for you. You will be working on improving timing and balance, learning new strides (step turns, V2), gaining more confidence on downhills and maximizing efficiency for longer ski outings. Skiers will be divided into small groups based on technique and ability. Once registered, watch your email for further instructions.
Advanced classic ski technique will be taught each evening. If you have a good understanding of the various techniques and when to use them. Are comfortable skiing 20 km. You may have participated in a race or endurance event. If you seek to make improvements in balance, timing, speed and training strategies, then this group is for you.
